At the recent West Vets Summer Meeting at Cathkin Braes Lesley Lloyd finished in second place in the Scratch Competition behind Gillian Kyle. Renfrewshire, and is second qualifier for the Championship at Renfrew GC on Tuesday and Thursday of next week.

Janice Paterson finished 4th scratch and third handicap.

May Hughes, Lanark, has also qualified for the Championship.
