It's a win for GB&I

Great Britain and Ireland staged a brilliant last-day surge to win back the Curtis Cup at The Nairn Golf Club today. They finished victors by 10 1/2pt to 9 1/2.

Trailing by 1pt going into the final set of eight singles, captain Tegwen Matthews' team notched individual wins by Kelly Tidy, who was three down after six holes, Amy Boulden, Holly Clyburn, Charley Hull and the clincher from Stephanie Meadow.

Curtis Cup Team to be Announced on Tuesday

The Curtis Cup Squad which includes Pamela Pretswell is meeting this week at Nairn.  The GB and I team of eight for the June 8-10 match against the United States will be selected on Monday and released via the LGU website (http://www.lgu.org/) at 12 noon precisely on Tuesday.

Pamela returns home from the Curtis Cup and caddies for Fiona

Pamela Pretwell (Bothwell Castle) has just returned from the Curtis Cup in the USA and she came to Kilmacolm Golf Club yesterday to help out her Lanarkshire County Team mates by Caddying for Fiona Norris in their final Inter County Team Match against Ayrshire. SLGA'S Isabel Crawford introduces the match and congratulates Pamela on her achievements

The final result in the Curtis Cup was USA 12 1/2 GB&I 71/2.
