GB& I were leading by 3 1/2 to 2 1/2 after day 1 with Pamela along with Danielle McVeigh defeating Jennifer Song and Kimberly Kim 4&3 but unfortunately they lost all three of today's four-ball matches and USA now lead by 5 1/2 to 3 1/2.
In today's foursomes Danielle McVeigh and Pamela Pretswell lost to Alexis Thompson and Jessica Korda 2&1
Leona and Lisa Maguire lost to Jennifer Song and Cydney Clanton 3&2
Sally Watson and Rachael Jennings lost to Stephanie Kono and Kimberly Kim by 1 hole.
