Pamela in second place in Turkey

Pamela Pretswell is in second place, 3 Strokes behind Melissa Reid after a 8 under par round of 65 today in the Turkish Airlines Ladies Open in Belek, Antalya. In the first round she had a 1 under 72 to give her a. 9 under par total of 137.

Pamela has third top 10 finish in a row

Despite an upset stomach all week in Morocco, Pamela Pretswell signed off with a 69 for a six-under-par aggregate of 278 and a joint eighth finish behind two-stroke winner Gwladys Nocera (France) in the Ladies European Tour's Lalla Meryem Cup tournament event which ended today at Golf de L'Ocean, Agadir on Morocco's western Atlantic coastline.

The Hamilton player's earlier rounds were 70, 68 and 71 against a par of 71. She earned 10,350 euros.

Pamela told Kirkwoodgolf by E-mail: 

"Delighted with my result this weekend as I haven't been well this week unfortunately! But played some solid golf and delighted to have my third top 10 in a row. This is my sixth top 10 on the LET in total. 

"I was planning on come home to play on the Ladies Tartan Tour event at Murcar Links Thursday-Friday this week but sadly I won't be playing

"I need a few days' rest to recover from this trip to Morocco and  get back to full fitness. Should be back in Scotland on Monday.

"Hope all goes well at Murcar and I will hopefully be able to play some other Ladies Tartan Tour events throughout the season."

Pamela to represent Scotland in China

Pamela Pretswell and Carly Booth   will be Scotland's pairing in the Mission Hills World Ladies Championship at Mission Hills Haikou, on the paradise island of Hainan, China, from March 6 to 9.
It will be Carly's third consecutive appearance in the team tournament but Pamela will be making her debut.

Pamela has joint lowest score in round 4 of Australian masters

In the final round of the Australian Ladies Masters at Royal Pines Resort on Queensland's Gold Coast  Pamela Pretswell had a 7 under par 66 to add to her previous rounds of 72, 74 and 78.

She had 6 birdies in a row and finished on  2 under par for a  joint 34th place.

The winner was Cheyenne Woods, niece of Tiger. She finished on 16 under.

Pamela has good Scottish Open

Belated congratulations to Pamela Pretswell who finished joint fourth in the European Ladies Scottish Open at Archerfield GC last Sunday. The Open was won by Catriona Matthews. 

Pamela has good third round

After the third round of the Turkish Ladies Open Pamela Pretswell is in joint 31st place on 224 after a one under par 72 which looked at one stage as if it was going to be a much lower score. Pamela reached the turn in 33 but dropped three shots to par over her last six holes in an inward 39. She is now 9 shots behind the leaders, Charley Hull and Carlota Ciganda.
