England win the Ladies and Girls Home Internationals

The final day was badly affected by the weather. Only the singles which were switched to the morning could be played.
In the Ladies Match England won with 6 points after beating Ireland 3.5-2.5
Scotland finished third with 2 points after beating Wales 4.5-1.5.

In the Girls' Match England and Ireland both finished on 5 points after drawing 3-3 but England won on the number of games won. Scotland lost 5-1 to Wales.  

Lesley successfully defends the West Vets Championship

At a cold and blustery Renfrew Golf Club today Lesley Lloyd won the West Vets Championship for the second year in a row.
In the semi final she had a good win over Liz Stewart 5&4 and in a closer final beat Donna Jackson 2 &1.
Very well done Lesley.
