Junior Ryder Cup Day 2

Report from Fiona Norris:
We had a much better day today winning the singles 7 1/2 - 4 1/2.
I think the Americans got a real fright. Everybody played much better. Unfortunately it was not good enough to win the cup but it was closer than it had looked yesterday. Many of the matches went up 18 or finished on 17. A great day.

We are off to Celtic Manor tomorrow to play the Friendship match against America over 9 holes on Thursday morning. Then we stay for the duration of the Ryder Cup over the weekend.

Junior Ryder Cup Day 1

Report from Fiona Norris
Unfortunately we are 9-3 down after the foursomes and fourballs but we are hoping for a better performance tomorrow. The weather was pretty difficult this afternoon as the mist rolled in and play was suspended at the twelfth hole for twenty minutes. We must now win 9 1/2 points tomorrow to win.
