Very worthy County Champion after excellent standard of Final

 Very many congratulations to Champion Susan Woodhouse and to Runner Up Kirsten Brown. Susan won 4&2 and in these 16 holes was 8 under par. Kirsten also played excellent golf having 2 eagles and 3 birdies to finish on -4 for 16 holes.

It is Susan's 4th Championship Win.

 Congratulations to Kirsten Brown , leading qualifier in this year's championship at Hamilton Golf Club with a score of 70(-2). Second qualifier was Susan Woodhouse on 74 followed by Ruth Hunter and Eva O'Connor on 76.

Kirsten also won the Centenary Salver with the best net score of 72 after a count back. Very well done Kirsten.

 Congratulations to Lynne Williamson and Elaine Wilson, winners of the Winter Greensomes Final at Playsport today.

The match was all square. after 18 holes but Lynne and Elaine beat Carol Saunders and Barbara Brown at the first extra hole. Well done all.

Great Boost To Our Funds

 Thanks to the generosity of those who donated to or attended the Coffee Morning yesterday the sum of £2227 was raised for our funds.

This morning's Coffee Morning provided an enjoyable get together before the start of the season and provided a good boost to our funds.

Good Luck Megan

 Megan Docherty is this week playing in the South American Amateur Championship in Buenos Aires. Argentina along with Ailsa Brannock,.Finlay Galloway and Oliver Mukherjee from Scottish Golf.

After  the second round Megan lies tied 15th after rounds of 74 and 77 (par 72 Number of female competitors 66 ).
