A message from Captain Lynne Fraser:

I just wanted to share with you some exciting news regarding the Vice Captain appointment. It has taken some time to get to this point however I am delighted to share with you that Lesley Lloyd will take up this position with a view to moving into her captaincy role in September 2025. Lesley joins our committee with a vast amount of experience as a player as well as on the administrative side.

Lesley is a current member of the Ladies Golf Club Troon. She is also a past Captain of Lanarkshire Ladies County in 2010/2011, current Captain of the SVLGA West Division 2024/2025.

Lesley has also excelled as a player having represented SVLGA at the Irish Match and Jamboree as well as representing Scotland at the European Senior Team Championships and Senior Home Internationals.

I have no reservations about Lesley’s ability to undertake this role with her breadth of knowledge as a player and administrator and very much looking forward to working with her over the next couple of years.

President Marjorie Rae and all other SVLGA Office Bearers join Lynne in welcoming Lesley as a member of the SVLGA team. See less
