Today at East Kilbride, Susan Halley and Anne Cameron, Strathaven beat Enid King and Karen Ward, East Kilbride 2 up .It was a great game and the sun shone for them.

In a quarter final tie on Wednesday at Cathkin Braes GC Pauline Warlow and Carol McKinnon beat Ray Wilson and Anne Morrison, Carluke 5 &4. The weather was bad but the company was good.

In the West of Scotland Girls Championship Final at Troon Portland toda between Lorna McClymont. Milngavie and Megan Docherty. Bishopbriggs both girls played very well.with Lorna Winning 4&3.

Minutes of 2017 AGM

Letters containing the notice with information for the AGM have now been sent out.    Some of them have been left up at your Golf Club for you.

On the agenda there is an item regarding Competitions.    The committee feel that some of our competitions are no longer viable in their present form and are looking at alternatives.    We are keen to get the views of our members on this issue so if  you have any ideas regarding competitions, please come along on the night where we can all take part in a productive discussion.

In a first round match on Friday at Wishaw Golf Club Lynne Williamson and Irene Morton beat Joan Anderson and Margaret Marshall.

Remember now that the first round is finished the closing date for the second round is 25th November.

In a first round match on Friday at Carluke Golf Club Ray Wilson and Anne Morrison beat Mairi Lowson and Joanne Holley 6&4.
Also on Friday at Carluke GC Anne Gracie and Esther Lillie beat Edna Taylor and Jean Maddock 6 & 5.
Again on a pleasant  Friday morning, this time at Cathkin Braes GC  in a match played in a very friendly spirit Pauline Warlow and Carole McKinnon beat Mel Watt and Christine Paterson 4&3..
