At West Kilbride Golf Club today Megan Briggs, Kilmacolm, won the West of Scotland Championship with a gross score of 76. Rachael Cassidy, Bothwell Castle was second with a 76, BIH from Lauren D'Ambrosia, Carluke. As Lauren had the best net score of 68 she won the Handicap Salver and Nicola Ferguson won third scratch with a 78.
The Lanarkshire team of Susan Wood, Lesley Lloyd and Rachael Cassidy were beaten after a count back by Renfrewshire on 156. D&A also had a total of 156.
The Lanarkshire Junior team of Eva O'Connor, Heather Neilson and Ellie Bryce won the Junior Salver with a total of 144.
