It was an extremely windy day with gusts up to 45mph and occassional heavy showers at the Scottish Ladies Close Championship at Longniddry Golf Club today. I'm told that a good drive was travelling 150 yards into the wind and a nine iron shot was travelling 170yards with the wind behind.
Six Lanarkshire members are competing.
