Fiona wins Lanarkshire Derby

The first round of the Scottish Senior Women’s Championship at Edzell was postponed for 1 hour this morning due to very heavy rain but the course held up well in spite of rain showers for the rest of the morning.
In the first round  Fiona Scott beat C King, Closer Golf club 3 & 2 and May Hughes beat Fiona Thorburn, Barberton by 1 hole  to meet each other in the second round this afternoon.

In a close game Fiona won the match 1up and goes on to play Louise Graham, Carnoustie Ladies Golf Club in the semi final tomorrow morning.
