I followed Lanarkshire in their bid to become County Team Champions and what great effort they did -- The morning especially when Lanarkshire took hold of the morning foursomes by winning 2 and 1 by virtue of the final game where the pairing of Susan Wood and Susan Woodhouse were in top form with birdies and eagles to defeat Ayrshire's Louise Duncan and newly selected GB&I Vagliano team member Hazel MacGarvie. -- A fantastic feat
The team put up a great fight in the afternoon but Ayrshire's strength won through in the end -- However, there were great performances by all the new youngsters now in the team and which must look good for the future -- Many congrats Lanarkshire
