Rachael just misses out
Rachael Taylor finished tied 27th in the Final of the European tour qualifying after a final round of 75, one stroke out of a qualifying place of 26th.

Rachael Playing well in Final Qualifying
After the third round of Final Qualifying for the Ladies' European Tour in Morocco, Rachael Taylor lies in 11th place with rounds of 71,70,70 for a total of 211. Bronte Law, England leads with a total of 203.
There is one more round to go before the field of 115 players will be cut to the leading 60 and ties. The final round will be played at Amelkis Golf Club on Thursday, when positions will determine playing categories for the 2019 Ladies European Tour.
After 90 holes (five rounds), the leading five will earn Category 5c membership of the LET and those finishing from 6th to 15th will gain Category 8 membership.

Rachael Taylor has qualified for the final Tour Qualifying

Hannah McCook (Grantown-on-Spey) covered her last 36 holes in nine under par with scores of 68 and 67 and a total of 285 to qualify for the Final Qualifying School of the Lalla Aicha Tour from December 16 to 20 at Marrakesh, Morocco.
Other Scots to come through the final eliminator at Amelkis Golf Club, also in Morocco, were amateur Alison Muirhead (280), Rachael Taylor (283) and Heather Stirling (285).
But Aboyne's Kimberley Beveridge missed the cut by 12 strokes with scores of 79, 74, 75 and 75 for 303.

At Kirkhill Golf Club on Sunday 9th December Lynne Williamson and Irene Morton beat Roxy Brown and Kay Cherrie 4 &2. They were very lucky with the weather and all the greens were on.
Lyn and Irene will play Anne Cameron and Susan Halley at a neutral venue in the final.

Rachel Taylor set to qualify for Final Qualifying for European Tour
Scots Hannah McCook, Alison Muirhead, Heather Stirling and Rachael Taylor look set to qualify for the Final Stage of the Lalla Aicha Tour Qualifying School over five rounds from December 16 to 20 in Morocco.
McCook , Muirhead, Stirling and Taylor should figure among the leading 38 and ties who will advance from the current pre-qualifying eliminator at Amelkis Golf Club after Monday's final round.
Muirhead is joint ninth on 210; Taylor T15 on 212; Stirling T21 on 215 while McCook shot one of the third day's best rounds - a six-under-par, seven-birdie 66 - for joint 30th place on 216.

Lanarkshire win friendly match v East Lothian
It was a beautiful day for our annual match against ELLCGA at Hamilton GC after the terrible rain yesterday. The course held up well and they all enjoyed their games although the greens were very inconsistent. The results are as follows

Lanarkshire Girls will participate in Inaugural Kingsbarns Girls Classic
Scottish Golf were delighted to invite each County to nominate two girls to participate in the inaugural 'Kingsbarns Girls Classic', a free to enter development golf event hosted at one of the world's finest venues, on Saturday November 3rd.
Professional Heather Macrae will host a clinic on the day and the girls will play in a 4ball better ball stableford format.
The girls representing Lanarkshire are Megan Docherty, Bishopbriggs, and Lindsay Main, Strathaven.
We wish them well.

that some of our competitions are no longer viable in their present form and
are looking at alternatives. We are keen to get the views of our
members on this issue so if you have any ideas regarding competitions,
please come along on the night where we can all take part in a productive
discussion.

Winter Foursome Result
On Saturday in a first round match at Bothwell Castle Golf Club Anne Cameron and Susan Halley, after being 3 down after 15, won their match against Jo Young and Katy Burden at the 19th.
Aberdeenshire Win County Finals
In a very tight finish to the County Finals at Kilmacolm Golf Club Aberdeenshire, Renfrewshire and Midlothian all finished with 2 wins and hence 2 points.
The competition was decided on the number of match points won. Aberdeenshire finished with 15.5 points, Renfrewshire with 15 and Midlothian with 14.5 points and so Aberdeenshire won the County Final Trophy for the first time since 1986 with Renfrewshire in second place and Midlothian third. Dumfriesshire finished fourth.

Scottish Schoolgirls lost narrowly to English Schoolgirls
Meagan Docherty was a member of the Scottish Schoolgirls Team that lost 5-4 to the English Schools at Lancaster GC, Lancashire, this week.
