2021 Championship Final Day

 Many congratulations to Susan Wood , winner of this year's Championship.

All matches today were very close with one semi final going to2  extra holes and the other finishing at the 17th. The Bronze final was decided at the 19th.  Good golf was played throughout;

This afternoon's final was excellent with birdies needed to win a hole.

Susan Wood was 4 up after 10 but Susan Woodhouse fought back and with a gimme birdie 3 at the par 4 17th got it back to 1 down.

Susan Wood's reply was to hit her tee shot to 2 feet at the par 3 18th and to sink the putt to win the Championship by 2 holes.

In this morning's Bronze Lady Final Christine Main beat Chistine Paterson at the 19th.

Congratulations Christine Main.

Happy 100th Birthday Margo 🎂🎉🎈🎈🎈

 Many Congratulations to our well liked Past Captain and Past President Margo Bauer who today celebrates her 100th birthday. What an achievement!

 Margo has also been President of SLGA and Chairman of LGU and was a vice president of SLGA.

While she was able she always attended the Championship and  has celebrated some previous birthdays with us there. We wish we could celebrate this birthday with her today at this year's championship..

Margo now lives in a Nursing Home in Milton of Campsie. LLCGA have sent their best wishes and have donated a bird table to the Nursing Home.

Margo, who was President in our Centenary year, is pictured below cutting the Centenary cake.

We hope you have a lovely day today, Margo. We will be thinking of you.
