Pamela Pretswell has virtually clinched a place on next year's Ladies European Tour.
Second place in the Azores Open at the weekend lifted her into the lead of the Ladies European Tour Access Series' Order of Merit.
The top three in the table at the end of the season - there are only two more events to go - will leapfrog over the LET Qualifyihng School, to be held in Morocco in December, and gain automatic playing rights on the full Ladies European Tour.
Pamela has 19,372 points to her credit, more than 2,000 ahead of second-placed Marion Ricordeau (France) (17,045).
Katy McNicoll (Carnoustie) is in fourth place with 14,070pt. If she can climb above third-placed Cecilie Lundgren (Norway) (14,256) over the final two LETAS events of the season she will be promoted to the Big League alongwith Pamela.
