 In the first round of the Winter Greensomes Lynne Williamson and Irene Morton beat Christine  McAdie and Lynn Alexander at East Kilbride.

Irene Cooper and Anne Clark beat Deirdrie Anderson and Liz Lees.

England win Senior Home Internationals

 In the combined Senior Women and Men's Home Internationals at West Kilbride Golf Club Scotland finished third, They beat Wales but lost to England and Ireland. England finished first and Ireland second.

In all 3 matches Ruth Hunter performed well. She played in all 6 games winning 3, halving 1 and losing 2.

Midlothian win the County Finals

In the County Finals at Hilton Park Golf Club Midlothian won all their Matches to win the trophy. North won 2 matches to finish second and win the FJ Morison Cup. Renfrewshire with 1 match win finished third and Dumfriesshire fourth.
