Congratulations to Jodie Graham who sank a 20ft putt on the 18th to beat Katie Scott by 1 hole to win the Lanarkshire Championship.. It was a very close game with the lead changing a few times. Jodi was 3 up after 4 but then Katie won 4 holes in a row to go 1 up. Katie was 1 up after 16 but Jodi won 17 and then won with that birdie putt at 18.

Susan is leading qualifier in Championship
Susan Wood with a 79 qualified in first place in the Championship at Drumpellier GC today.;

Unfortunately only 12 of those who qualified are able to play in the first match play round.
In the Bronze Championship Anne Cameron was the top Qualifier with a gross score of 100.

Ireland win Quadangular Matches
Ireland beat Scotland in a winner takes all tie 8.5-6.5 to win the competition with a 100% record following up wins over Wales and The Netherlands in the first two rounds.
The morning foursomes were postponed due to fog so Ireland and Scotland headed into the afternoon singles locked together on 2.5 points each.
In the singles matches Scotland led 4-2 but Ireland won the last 4 games to claim the win.

Very close match with Wales
In the Quadrangular matches today Scotland drew 7.5 to 7.5 with the host Country , Wales while Ireland beat the Netherlands 9.5 to 5.5.
Tomorrow Scotland play the leaders, Ireland and need a win to take the title.
Great start for Scotland
Yesterday on the first day of the under 16 Quadrangular Match at Pyle & Kenfig in Wales Scotland beat Holland by 14.5 to 0.5 Jodie Graham won both her Foursome and singles match. Freya Russell from Royal Troon also won her matches.
In the other Match Ireland beat Wales by 9.5 to 5.5.
Scotland play Wales today.
