Winter Foursome Result

On Saturday in a first round match  at Bothwell Castle Golf Club Anne Cameron and Susan Halley, after being 3 down after 15, won their match against Jo Young and Katy Burden at the 19th.

Aberdeenshire Win County Finals

In a very tight finish to the County Finals at Kilmacolm Golf Club Aberdeenshire, Renfrewshire and Midlothian all finished with 2 wins and hence 2 points.
The competition was decided on the number of match points won. Aberdeenshire finished with 15.5 points, Renfrewshire with 15 and Midlothian with 14.5 points and so Aberdeenshire won the County Final Trophy for the first time since 1986 with Renfrewshire in second place and Midlothian third. Dumfriesshire finished fourth.

Scottish Schoolgirls lost narrowly to English Schoolgirls

Meagan Docherty was a member of the Scottish Schoolgirls Team that lost 5-4 to the English Schools at Lancaster GC, Lancashire, this week.

At Stirling Golf Club today Carol McNally and Alyson McGinnigle from Renfrewshire won the Commonwealth Spoons with a great score of 69.5.

Susan is Captain for World Championship



Susan Wood is captain this week of the Scottish team of Connie Jaffrey, Hannah McCook and Shannon McWilliam which is competing in the world Championships for the Espirito Santo Trophy at the Carton House Go;f Club, Maynooth. Co Kildare. Ireland.
 Scotland finished  in 24th place. .USA won the trophy. The top Scot was Shanon McWilliam who finished tied 24th..
