Girls lose to Czech Republic

The Scotland Team lost 3.5-1.5 to the Czech Republic in the Girls European Team Championsips in Finland today. 
Molly halved her match.

Congratulations to the Scotland Team who beat Switzerland 3-2 in the European Girls Team Championship in Finland today.

Scotland Girls lose to Austria

In their flight B matchplay round at the European Girls Championship Scotland lost 3-2 to Austria. Molly Richmond and her foursome partner Jasmine Mackintosh lost at the 19th.

Scottish girls will be in second flight of matchplay

In spite of some good scoring the Scotland team finished in 14th place after the second strokeplay round today and so will enter flight B matchplay tomorrow.
Molly had a 1 over par 73 today.

Scottish Girls Team in Joint 9th place

In the Girls European Team Championship at the Golf Club at the St Laurance GC in Finland the Scottish Team lies in joint 9th place.
Molly Richmond had a 3 over par 75 and was one of the 5 who counted towards the team score of + 12.
The top 8 teams after tomorrow's round qualify for the  top flight  matchplay on Thursday and Friday while the others compete in the flight B matchplay.
Good luck tomorrow, Scotland. You are only one stroke behind 8th place.

In the Quarter Finals of the Scottish Girls Amateur Championship at Scotscraig today Molly Richmond lost 2&1 to her fellow Scottish Girls Internationalist, Jillian Farrell of Cardross.

In the first round of the  Scottish Girls Amateur Championship Molly Richmond beat Megan Ashley by 1 hole. Kirsten Brown lost to Jasmine MacIntosh 4&3. Susan Woodhouse lost to Jillian Farrell 3&2. 
Tomorrow Molly will play Jillian Farrell.

Molly Richmond, Strathaven, Kirsten Brown, Strathaven, and Susan Woodhouse, East Kilbride, have qualified for the matchplay in the Scottish Girls Amateur Championship at Scotscraig and Drumoig.

After the 2nd qualifying round today Molly finished tied 4th with rounds of 80 &79. Kirsten finished tied 9th with rounds of 81,79. Susan finished tied 14th with rounds of 82,81.

Tomorrow Molly will play Megan Ashley, Strathmore, Kirsten will play Jasmine MacIntosh, Hazlehead and Susan will play Jillian Farrell, Cardross.

We wish them well.
