Juniors Have Very Friendly Half Match against Ayrshire


Lanarkshire  Junior Girls played a friendly against Ayrshire today at Lanark Golf Club. After a very foggy  start the mist cleared to leave a beautiful sunny  day and the match was keenly contested with the final result being a draw two games all.
 Playing for Lanarkshire were Katie Scott (Strathaven), Justine Fulton (Hayston), Megan Docherty (Bishopbriggs) and making her team debut Taylor White (Torrance House).

Junior Team for Friendly Match Selected

The following team has been selected to compete against Ayrshire at Lanark Golf Club on Sunday 28 February : Megan Docherty, Bishopbriggs, Justine Fulton, Hayston, Katie Scott, Strathaven, and Taylor White, Torrance House.
The first tee off time is 12 noon.

Rachael Taylor finishes in top 20 in Puerto Rico

Rachael Taylor (North Carolina State) T18  in a field of 88 players at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic which ended today  at Rio Mar Country Club, San Juan.
Rachael started the 54-hole tournament very well with a five-under 67 to be lying second but subsequent scores of 80 and 77 for a total of seven-over 223 over the par-72, 6191yd course saw her just make the final top 20.

Winter Foursomes Competition Completed

In spite of the poor weather conditions this winter, the foursomes have been completed on time. Well done all.

At Hamilton Golf Club today Jean Allan and Marion Brodie fought back from 4 holes down to beat Ann Houston and Mary Francis McCaughley by 1 hole.
