Last month she helped GB & I win the Curtis Cup against the USA for the first time since 1996 and is a former winner of the British Ladies Amateur Strokeplay Championship and Swiss Ladies Amateur Open.
Since graduating Pamela has been preparing for professional golf by playing as an amateur in the LETAS and in May she became the first amateur to win a LETAS event when she won the Ljunbyhed Park PGA Ladies Open in Sweden by 2 strokes after a final round of 4 under par.
Pamela is currently lying second in the LETAS Order of Merit and is targeting a top 3 finish which would secure a card for the Ladies European Tour (LET) in 2013. Her first event as a professional will be in the LETAS Ladies Challenge in Norway next week.
On turning professional, Pamela paid tribute to the support and encouragement that she has received from the SLGA, the LGU and Lanarkshire Ladies County Golf Association, Bothwell castle GC, Ladies Golf Club, Troon, Aberdeen Asset Management, Coach Alan Murdoch and his team at Kings Acre.
We at Lanarkshire Ladies wish her every success in her Professional Career.
