The conditions were a bit damp and not particularly inviting but Fiona Scott, Irene Morrison, Anne McKeown and Pam Rice stayed the course and enjoyed their day. They are also happy that they were not playing today.
The photographs taken by Pam Rice show the conditions and also the happy faces.

Junior Match v Ayrshire

We were at Carluke GC today for the Junior Girls team match v Ayrshire. In contrast to yesterday when the West Girls Championship Final was postoned due to the high winds and rain we had lovely sunshine. It was a close match with Ayrshire winning 4 - 3.
Lanarkshire team:
Emma Caddow (Colville Park) Nicola McLuckie (Wishaw) Nicole Benson (Cawder) Eva O'Connor (Bothwell Castle) Alexandra Duffy (Cathkin Braes) Abbi Kidd (Lenzie) Alison Reid (Lanark)
Thanks to Captain May Hughes for starting the girls and encouraging them out on the course. A special thanks from the girls to Margaret Reid for individual photographs taken in the morning and printed for them coming off the course! The girls were really pleased and all the red sweaters looked good in the sunshine.
