Mhairi McKay is expecting her first baby in May

Mhairi McKay, an Honorary Member of LLCGA and member of the LPGA tour, is expecting her first baby at the beginning of May and won't be playing at all before the baby is born. She married Dave Smith last year and now lives in New Mexico. They are both thrilled at becoming parents. She hopes to be competing again before the end of the season.

European Tour

Jenna Wilson will be returning to the Ladies European Tour Qualifying School at La Manga. Jenna is exempt from stage 1 and will contest stage 2 over the La Manga North and South courses from January 12 to 15. There will be a cut after 54 holes to the leading 50 and ties. After 4 rounds the leading 30 will gain playing rights for the 2009 European Tour. We wish her well.

Civic Reception

South Lanarkshire Council have offered to host a civic reception to mark our Centenary. This event will take place on Thursday 24th September 2009 at the Council Headquarters in Almada Street, Hamilton. Details to follow.
