Scotland have won the Miller Stirling Salver today at Kilmarnock Barassie Golf Club. Although they lost their last match against the North their fantastic play throughout the 3 days ensured a long awaited victory.
On the third day of the boys and girls Home Internationals Scotland lost 13 -8 to England but the boys’ team beat England 7.5-4.5.
In the overall standings the mixed team finished 2nd after England.

Another brilliant win for our juniors - taking down Wales 15-6 to follow on from a day one victory over Ireland.
That means one thing in the combined event…..a winner takes all final day showdown against England tomorrow!
After securing the morning foursomes session 5.5-1.5, the team kicked on in the singles.
The after.5-4.5 to set up the Auld Enemy match-up.

As well as having a chance to win the joint trophy, the boys have two wins out of two in their section and top the table.
The girls could still win their individual event if they win by five points against England.

The tournament is the result of a collaboration between Scottish Golf and the Georgia State Golf Association designed to offer a new competitive opportunity for junior golfers on both sides of the pond.
Taking place this year at East Lake Golf Club and due to be staged in Scotland in 2027, the Kiltie Cup will pit four boys and four girls from each side against the other in Ryder Cup-style fourball, foursomes and singles matches.
The international team match is named after Stewart “Kiltie” Maiden, born in Carnoustie, and a member of the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame
