Lanarkshire Success in Inter County Foursomes Finals

Lesley Lloyd and Fiona Scott won first scratch in the Inter County Foursomes Finals played over Pollock Golf Club today.

The course was in magnificent condition. With the sun shining and very windy the course played even longer than its 6022 yards. The ladies found it a tough challenge. However, Lesley Lloyd and Fiona Scott representing Lanarkshire scored 39 each way to win the Scratch Award with a 78.In the handicap event the qualifiers found it even more difficult with the winners being Dorothy Woodger and Maida Grant (D&A) with a net 83.5
